Legal & Regulatory
Acceptable Use Policy
1. Prohibited activities
You may not use the service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or facilitate the violation by others.
- Transmit, store, or distribute content that infringes intellectual property rights (see our Copyright / DMCA Policy).
- Send unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam), or operate open mail relays or open proxies.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account; scan or probe others’ systems without authorization; or circumvent authentication.
- Launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks, distribute malware, or engage in network abuse such as IP or DNS spoofing.
- Distribute child sexual abuse material or content that is unlawful, threatening, or harassing.
- Resell or redistribute the service, or share it beyond the premises and organization identified on the account, unless expressly permitted in writing.
2. Customer responsibilities
- Secure your own equipment, networks, and credentials.
- Keep contact and technical information current for abuse and outage notifications.
- Ensure your users comply with this AUP. You are responsible for all activity on your connection.
3. Network security and monitoring
Sixto Fiber does not routinely monitor the content of customer traffic. We may inspect traffic metadata and take action as needed to protect the network, investigate suspected violations, comply with law, or respond to an emergency.
4. Reporting abuse
Report suspected violations, spam, or security incidents involving our network to abuse@sixtofiber.net. Include logs with timestamps and time zone where possible.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity, Sixto Fiber may contact the customer, filter specific traffic, suspend the service, or terminate the account. For non-urgent violations we will give at least 5 days’ written notice and an opportunity to cure before suspending service. We may act immediately, without prior notice, where required by law or to protect the network or third parties (for example, an active attack, malware, or a security compromise). Repeated or egregious violations may result in termination.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP. Material changes will be posted here and, where required, communicated to customers. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
