Legal & Regulatory
Privacy & CPNI Policy
1. Information we collect
- Account information: business name, contact names, billing and service addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and payment details.
- Service and network data: IP address assignments, equipment identifiers, connection status, bandwidth utilization, and diagnostic data used to operate the network.
- CPNI: information that relates to the type, technical configuration, destination, location, and amount of use of the telecommunications and interconnected services you buy from us, and information on your bill about those services.
- Website data: standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested). This site uses only strictly necessary cookies and does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
2. How we use information
- Provision, maintain, support, and bill for the service.
- Operate, secure, and improve the network.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
- Communicate with you about your service, and — consistent with CPNI rules — about other communications-related offerings.
3. CPNI protections
We use, disclose, and permit access to CPNI only as permitted or required by law (47 U.S.C. § 222 and 47 CFR § 64.2001–.2011). We do not sell CPNI. We maintain safeguards including access controls, employee training, and a supervisory review process for marketing that uses CPNI, and we will notify you and the appropriate authorities of CPNI breaches as required. You may direct us to restrict the use of your CPNI for marketing by contacting contact@sixtofiber.net; a restriction request remains in effect until you revoke it and will not affect the provision of your service.
4. How we share information
- Service providers that perform functions on our behalf (billing, payment processing, field installation, network vendors) under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety: in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful process, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Data retention and security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. We retain data only as long as needed:
- Account and billing records: for the life of the account plus 7 years (tax and accounting).
- Network and connection logs: up to 12 months, unless a longer hold is legally required.
- Website server logs: up to 90 days.
After these periods we delete or de-identify the data.
6. Your rights and choices
Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, which may include the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of certain personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising or sale. To exercise a right, contact contact@sixtofiber.net. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may appeal a denial by replying to our response.
7. Children
The service is sold to businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes and contact
