Sixto Fiber respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
This page is provided for transparency and is written in plain language. Your signed service order and master service agreement control where they differ from this summary.

1. Designated agent

2. Notice of infringement

A valid notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. IP address, date, and time with time zone).
  4. Your contact information (address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

3. Our response

As a provider of network connectivity, Sixto Fiber generally does not host customer content. Where we act as a conduit, we will forward valid notices to the affected customer. Where we do host or cache material, we will remove or disable access to it upon receipt of a valid notice and notify the customer.

4. Counter-notification

A customer who believes material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notice to the agent above containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.

5. Repeat infringers

Sixto Fiber maintains a policy of suspending or terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the account of any customer who is the subject of two or more validated infringement notices within any 12-month period. We track notices per account and notify the customer at each step.

6. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
